I purchased this lens about ten years ago as a overhauled item and used it occasionally, but it has been stored in a cabinet for the past few years.\rThe exterior is very clean, lens has no mold, balsam separation, noticeable haze, or scratches. The aperture mechanism and the helicoid move smoothly. The original front and rear caps are included.\rThe viewfinder image is clear, and there is no misalignment of the rangefinder image on my M2 and M3 (note: the camera body is not included). This lens can be used with all M-series Leicas (including digital models).
